Elegantly weird, Parliament of Owls is a black and white owl themed lantern parade.
Everyone is always invited to make an owl lantern and walk in the parade!
Parade attire is black and white.
Owls flock in the Plaza of Colony Square at 8:30.
The Owls take flight at 8:50pm with the Black Sheep Ensemble!
Please fly behind the band.
Owls return to roost at Colony Square about 9:30pm and the Black Sheep Ensemble plays until 10pm!
Check out the parade route! It's a 1 mile loop that starts and ends at Colony Square.
Arts Center MARTA is two blocks away.
You need an owl lantern!
We all love to see new weird owls. Invent! Check out the Lantern Ideas & Inspiration page and browse
the photos of past parades below. Making lanterns together and marching in the parade is great team building.

Free owl mask prints and little owl lanterns are at the bottom of this page.
These owl masks are intended to be illuminated from below with a flashlight. Your phone has one! They are best printed on 11 x 17 card stock. Office Depot or Staples will print one for you for 40 cents. You'll need elastic, ribbon, or string to attach them. I bet you could figure out how to make a lantern with them, too!
