Please fly behind the band.
Owls return to roost at Colony Square about 9:30pm and the Black Sheep Ensemble plays until 10pm!

Designed and hosted by Chantelle Rytter, this workshop is to create an ensemble of twelve flying owl lantern puppets to fly together in the Parliament of Owls Lantern Parade. This flock of owls will fly right behind the Black Sheep Ensemble in the parade. These owl puppets are made from Rytter’s drawings sliced up and crafted into an owl with a carry pole and rod operated wings. Theses owls are about the size of an actual owl. There's lots of scissor work. You are welcome to bring a friend to help you cut your feathers.
